TGIF! Another week under the belt.
Hike ended up getting scrapped as the trail was closed. Kids were gutted, they thought I’d make them go back to bed. Poor kids. Good thing @fitwellthornbury had an early morning live fitness class. Thanks, Sarah you saved the day. If whining and complaining get gold stars, Lucy gave you 5+. I’ll leave you a great review on Yelp.
Today’s school lesson was on financial education. Investing, real estate, passive income, and losses. Typically, Relic shows brilliant aptitude in this subject but the Duchess had some big wins today. When I asked her what she took away from the lesson she responded:” there are no friends in business.” That kid is going places, you heard it hear first.
Thank you Monopoly, you are a true classic.
There were misty eyes on the sofa this evening. Each time we watch The Force Awakens I mourn Hans’ death like it’s the first time.
I feel like this week was a success. Kids were fed and show no signs of scurvy. This is due in large part to Number 2 and his mad cooking skills.
