Captains Log
Everyone woke up with a sugar hangover this morning. Made motivation a chore, gym class brought much grumbling. Relic has been awarded the first detention on this voyage. The first period begins at 9 am sharp, not 9:15. Tardiness will not be tolerated.
While the kids taught themselves, I obsessively cleaned our home as the weather wasn’t overly inviting.
I decided after my marathon clean to take a nap today. I’m not talking a nice cat nap on the sofa, I went balls to the walls. Climbed right into bed and burrowed deep; 6 pillows, ultra-soft blanket and down duvet, pulled well overhead. 68 mins of absolute bliss
Nap drunk, I indulged in some daytime television today. Watched the cinematic masterpiece “Meg”. I just love @jasonstatham . He’s brilliant. I love explosions, mass casualties and a totally impossible mission.
Tomorrow I have been tasked by @kerrybaker12 with the challenge of watching #sexandthecity. I’m a Bradshaw virgin, I’ve never seen it. Looking forward to watching it.
