Surprise cabin checks today.

Relic failed on so many levels. However, if it was a science experiment, he was looking at an A+. His punishment had to fit the crime, so he had to cook the crew dinner. He has redeemed himself, showing that discipline and rewards can go hand in hand when parenting teens.

The Duchess, however, passed with flying colours. Although, I would hope so given the amount of time she holds herself up in there. She continues to be a shining star academically. After she completed her schoolwork, she let me know she was now working on becoming a firefighter. Maybe one day, she’ll work for Chicago Fire.

Navigating these family transitions and sibling dynamics is always a challenge, but it’s rewarding to see them grow and set future career goals. Parenting challenges and parenting teens require patience and resilience. The Duchess continues to be a shining star academically. After she completed her schoolwork, she let me know she's now working on becoming a firefighter. Maybe one day she'll work for Chicago Fire.
