Captain’s log
Today was PERFECTION.
The crew was mildly irritated we woke them up before noon (9am) but came around once we bribed them with manual labor. Together we enjoyed a beautiful day outside.
The Birds were chirping, the kids were whining and the beer was cold. I love Saturday.
We surprise Relic with a drive by birthday party this afternoon and I am so grateful to the amazing village of people we have in our lives who helped him celebrate 16.
Seeing everyone (if only for a minute) filled my cup back up. It’s exactly what my whole family needed today. Much love you guys!
Even during this turbulent times, your village always provides. Remember that.
Now I’m going to tuck in on the sofa, attempt to snuggle one of my kids and enjoy a @therock movie. .
