Captain’s Log
Woke the crew around 8:30, served them a beautiful breakfast of cold leftover pizza, and then piled everyone into the truck for a hike.
There is nothing better than starting your day dragging overtired teens through the wilderness on a perfect Sunday morning. Sun was shining, birds were chirping and kids were muttering their dissatisfaction under their breath. I love spring!!!
I do feel for the crew, the lockdown has been hard on them. The house has gone from a social cruise to a naval ship overnight. Hanging out with friends and sleepovers to stuck with their commanding officers 24/7.
I’m curious to know how everyone else is managing life with their teens? Any suggestions on things that they may actually enjoy doing??
