Captain's Log

Sunday’s are my favourite day of the week. I love the pace, slow and easy with no plan. I feel like anything accomplished today is a bonus and should be celebrated (with wine of course.)

I spent a glorious couple of hours in my gardens this afternoon alone. I find there to be something unbelievably joyful about gardening barefoot, especially after a rain storm. Feeling very zen (could be the wine)

The crew is excited to have their cousin aboard for the next week. Number 2 has acquired a First Mate for the next 5 days.

A minion will come in handy in these up coming days, as Number 2 is off and therefore I will be on Holidays for the next week. I am leaving him in charge of the bridge and he will be handling this shipwreck.

I’ve got to be honest, I find the whole idea of Mark at home pretty dreamy. He will be with the kids, while I’ll be at work all day. Bliss.

I’m going to roll my ass out of bed tomorrow morning, drink my hot coffee, make my lunch and saunter out the door , on time.

That simple.

I will Not wake up at 5:45am to make lunches, wake kids, walk the dog, scream at kids , or Uber them to their jobs on time.

I am optimistic I’ll have my shit organized and on locked down until at least

Wednesday this week.
